There is a new and exciting activity for residents of the Greater Valley Area to partake in. The area already known for an abundance of outdoor activities has just become a mecca for hunters as well, now that Twisted Pine Hunting preserve is now open.
Offering 2,100 acres of pristine hunting countryside in east Alabama and west Georgia, the preserve is conveniently located just minutes from the communities of Quail Run and Riverside Estates, making both neighborhoods of
homes in Lanett Alabama ideal for hunting enthusiasts.
The preserve is managed by Colorado State University graduate, Kyle Farner. An enthusiastic and life-longer hunter, Farner maintains the property with controlled burns, supplemental feed and mineral stations, food plots, predator control and selective harvests in an effort to insure hunters have a healthy selection of dove, whitetail deer and turkey. Dove hunts are already sold out for the 2010-2011 season, and deer hunts are expected to be popular as well.
Quail Run, a master-planned community, features classically southern floor plans on sprawling green lots. Numerous homes offering the best in southern architecture are available. Community amenities include a pool, pool pavilion, tennis courts, a multi-purpose sports field and fishing pond.
Riverside Estates offers custom homes located on over-sized wooded lots. Amenities include an initial year membership to nearby Riverside County Club, which boasts a championship 18-hole golf course, exclusive outdoor pool, tennis courts, clubhouse and dinning room. The new “Founder’s Club” program, presents the first 20 lot owners in this community with the opportunity to purchase a home site at special discounted pricing.
Both communities are ideal for residents who seek the serenity and beauty of nature while still maintaining convenience for those who wish to live near Kia Motors Manufacturing Georgia or live an easy driving distance to Ft. Benning, near Columbus, Ga.
